Presidential Debate on October 7th 2008

Ok just to begin, I am supporting Barack Obama. That doesn't mean that I will be prejudiced toward McCain.

Debate begining now

question 1: Obama takes first jab by associating McCain with Bush policies. I like his response for AIG executives. McCain sounded condescending when adressing the asker. Package of reforms sounds like a bureaucracy. Buying up the bad mortgages costs a lot of money. We can't just spend all of the money we want. There is a limit. McCain's sense of humor not working. The best person McCain came up with was the owner of E-BAY. WOW.

question 2: It's not a rescue, it's a bailout. Bringing up the campaign suspension again. Is he going to answer the question? Wow "cronies" thats harsh. Obama's face is like "oh no you didn't". He's so not answering the question. At least Obama is answering the question. Obama takes second stab at McCain. Good answer for Obama in discussion. McCain is giving a lot of "if's".

question 3: Not all about Budget in Washington. McCain is so god damn condescening. "clear" record of bi-partisanship? I'm thinking not. No nuclear power. No Offshore drilling. Why can't Obama respond to McCain's attack. Work on all three at once? He found his way around that questions. Now he's repeating himself. Obama now trying to connect with families again. Education wasn't on the list? It should've been Social Security last, in which case he would lose some senior votes with that.

question 3: good question. What programs. Shut down defense spending? how would that work? Spending freeze? That isn't acceptable to me. Education sponding would be the first to go. Obama supports offshore drilling? hmmm learned something new. Double peace corp. Interesting. I haven't heard about the Peace Corp. in a long time. Scalpel instead of hatchet, interesting. Now McCain's telling america to spend with that 5000 dollars.

question 4: Obama totally worked taxes right into that question. No I don't know what the fix to Social Security is, tell me. Medicare commission? Right back to tax talk. 94 votes is a lie.

question 5: good question. Nuclear power may be clean but no matter what he says, it can't be reused. McCain didn't answer question. Nice jab for Obama with McCain not doing anything about energy. Discussing question: my vote is for the garages of america. america is a lot more creative than were given credit for.

question 6: interesting question. the right answer is yes. Good answer for Obama. So much for McCain keeping time.

question 7: good question. Wow, McCain's not ethnocentric. It's harsh to say Obama didn't understand. Obama got best answer on that one. Good answer with moral obligations. Staying in Iraq for the sake of victory isn't acceptable.

question 8: good question. Obama answer is good. talking doesn't always work. So McCain's going to attack Pakistan he's just not proclaiming it. It's not our decision wether Afghanistan has a dictatorship or democracy, that's up to the afghans.

question 9: wow. No more cold war with russia. That is a big statement. One that I totally disagree with.

Taking 10 minute break for food and bathroom visit. 10:20 PM

Back right at 10:30

Last question the best of the night.

Weird answer from Obama, didn't really answer the question. Good answer from McCain.

Overall I feel like this debate was just a lot of mudslinging. If the other debate(s) are like this I will tune out!

Well, I'm out thank you.
